It's KoA's monthly skillweek… MINING!!

Please confirm that your RSN is in the tracker. If not, post to this topic/thread.

15 September @10pm BST (5pm EDT) -- 22 September @10pm BST (5pm EDT)



Please log out before the start and end of the competition (so that the tracker can accurately capture your XP baseline and total accrued). Please be sure to log out at least 5 mins before the competition end to ensure Runetracker collects your closing xp.

Please do NOT change your RSN from now until the end of the competition (or the data for your XP will be lost from the tracker! -- some have learned this lesson the hard way.)

You're welcome to train slayer on any world you wish. However, if you train on KoA's homeworld (114), you're more likely to run into friends!

For mining skillweek, the following XP rewards are:

NOT allowed:

• While Guthix Sleeps (WGS) quest XP reward for mining
• Ritual of the Mahjarrat (ROTM) quest XP reward for mining
• The Branches of Darkmeyer (BOD) quest XP reward for ming
• Elite XP lamp rewards
• Ancient effigies*

*If trained/acquired DURING skillweek, the XP rewards can be used for starred items above. (No bonus XP collected PRIOR to skillweek may be used for these items)

Allowed:

• Penguin points
• Sacred clay tools
• Penance horn
• Mining urns (excluding pre-filled urns)
• Brawling gloves
• Shattered heart rock pairs
• Tears of Guthix D&D (assuming your lowest ranked skill is mining)
• Random event skill lamp or Book of Knowledge reward
• Mining clan ring

And, of course, we rely heavily on the honor system!

You are free to train as and when you wish Lacey, no set events or times. However clannies who prefer to train together can organise this via cc - there will always be a few of us willing to join you.

I plan on doing this quest today, I will not be using any of the reward lamps on mining but there is 40k exp toward mining. Could you either deduct it or remove me from the tracker (I don't plan on being anywhere near the top btw)

I havn't started mining yet because I'm still doing the new quest (I can't seem to find the time and I've lost my questing mojo at the moment!As long as it doesnt take me a week like a certain elemantal quest!), but I will be joining in as soon as I get the quest cape back..........rest assured, the xp lamps will not be going on mining, they will go on the dreaded RC!

If you get the 40 xp mining reward from finishing the quest, that's fine. It's really the XP lamps that are of concern and which could affect the outcome of skill week.

We don't want skill week to interfere too much with normal RS life, such as completing quests. (which is different from the issue of using valuable XP lamp rewards)
