You were well lucky, it took me 2 weeks almost constant playing to get full lumber when it first came out, there were many complaints on the RSOF that the jacket was far to rare.Pilgrim Matt wrote:Awesome!
Anyone that wants full lumberjack kit, this is the time to do it! It took me 3 hours to get the full kit.
Yep, it used to be much harder. It took me two weeks to get full lumberjack long ago. I did temple trekking again last year for charms and got another full set in a few hours.pi_stoff wrote:You were well lucky, it took me 2 weeks almost constant playing to get full lumber when it first came out, there were many complaints on the RSOF that the jacket was far to rare.Pilgrim Matt wrote:Awesome!

Just 4 Jesse.Jessemine wrote:Took me ages too to get only 3 parts of the lumberjack outfit. It's five parts for the full set isnt it?
U forgot the snakeskin drops Kaz, they are some nice cash also!Darth Kaz2 wrote:Temple Trekking is an awesome game! I did it for two weeks in preparation for the first Bonus Weekend. There are three primary rewards from playing.
First and foremost, Lumberjack Clothing. It gives a nice exp bonus while woodcutting. If you don't have 99 WC, you should definitely get Lumberjack before doing any serious WC training.
Second, Nail Beast charms. This was the reason I trained it. Each nail beast you kill gives a charm for making a Nail Beast pouch...a whopping 1k Summoning exp each! After a week, I had a little over 500 nail beast charms, which I used during the first Bonus Exp Weekend. 1.2mil sumn exp in 20 minutes...it was beautiful, just beautiful.
Third, some of the enemies drop corpses which can be burned on pyres at Burgh for substantial FM exp and decent cash/item rewards.
I played for about 20 hours over the course of two weeks, and between normal rewards and pyre rewards, I made around 3mil in profits. Not bad, really.
It is a fairly complicated mini-game, so you may want to check out a guide on Tipit, or elsewhere. If you plan on doing harder trips for better rewards (I did), then you I advise you get and fully charge the Ivandis Flail. To charge it, you kill 500 Vyrewatchers. Boring, but makes Trekking way faster and safer.
