We have been invited to a skilling competition by another adult clan Celestial Conspiracy (http://services.runescape.com/m=clan-ho ... Conspiracy) !

Let´s have some fun and show them we are better skillers



1. Starting on Sunday 28th of July at 10 pm BST / 5 pm EDT.
2. Each "day" starts at 10 pm BST ( all members have to log out before that)
3. Each day 1 skill . Order of the skills: agility, fishing, hunter, mining, runecrafting, thieving, woodcutting
4. Winner is the clan who wins 4 of the 7 skills
5. Top 25 exp gains from each clan will be taken into account and the clan with higher total exp gain ( of those Top 25) is the winner of the day.
6. Every training method is allowed except:
* Bought SOF spins
* agility tickets
* Flash Powder factory exp
* Summer squirk juices

Edit: Just reread that...average xp gains of whole clan list.....so people on the list that aren't playing will seriously negate anyone that is trying really hard? doesn't seem a good way to do it? In most clan competitions the bottom half of the clan list is full of ppl who don't gain any xp at all!

I agree Katy but I´m thinking why should their clan be very much different from ours? ( in terms of inactive members).

The other thing is their clan is smaller which means if we compete for example in all exp gain.. we´re at advantage ( which may suit for us, lol.. not sure they would agree though).

If you can come up with another fair way how to compete, it would be great and it can still be discussed. As we havn´t agreed on lots of stuff yet ( times, order of skills etc.)

How about xp gains of the top 50 member each skill from each clan rather than whole clan?

The only problem is we are 128 vs 101 as of yesterday, so mathematicly we got 26,7% more awesome skillers than them :lol:

We could do something where we don't count the upper and lower 25%, so the people who gained xp rates in the middle range are what we use for scores. That way incredibly high and 0 xp gains don't count as much

Unfortunately I havn´t been able to contact their coordinator more than once.

I´ll post here as soon as I find out.

I believe, they as inviting party should do some thinking about the rules.

Information I have so far was that every exp gain method is allowed, so I guess feel free to stock up on urns

Also, to change a slight bit on Katy's idea then, how about the top 25% of member's gains in that skill gets averaged?

So if we have 128 members, then on the Runecrafting day for instance, the average of the top 32 RC gains in KoA gets put against the average of the top 25 of their clan? Still isn't the greatest solution, but would be a bit more fair than an average of the entire clan list due to possible inactivity problems and such. I'd say to choose for instance 10 players in each clan, but could bring some hard feelings if someone in those had to leave for something for the day or something.
