December Skill Weekend Poll
We are continuing our monthly skill weekends!
December begins on a Saturday this year, so we'll have to wait a week until the skill weekend after the start of the month, as it technically starts on a Friday (sorry for those who wanted it sooner!)
The structure will be identical to skill weeks, except unlike current skill weeks (it was the flip side back when Dave did these), there will only be a 6 month waiting period to repeat skills. In addition, the most recent skill used for skill week will not be allowed as a choice for the skill weekend. Everything else, voting and rules, will be the same. Unfortunately there will not be rewards unless someone is kind enough to make signatures and has some artistic abilities ;) (only rewards will be in choosing possible skills for the next skill weekend.)
The skill weekend will always occur on the first full week-end of the month from Friday noon (12pm) GMT until Sunday midnight (11:59pm) GMT
The skills for the next skill weekend will be chosen as follows: 1st place (3 choices) 2nd place (2 choices) 3rd place (1 choice).
KoA's skill weekend will begin on Friday, December 7 at 12:00 pm GMT, and run until 11:59 pm GMT Sunday, December 9.
Skills not allowed to be chosen for this month
Agility
Slayer (most recent skillweek)
The poll will end at the end of this month.
You may change your vote at any time before the poll closes.
You only have 1 vote! Vote away, and may the best skill win!

Re: December Skill Weekend Poll
I gave my vote towards Mining. It would be interesting with the action bar and increased xp rates

Re: December Skill Weekend Poll
Let's say that you're mining gold in LRC. If you were to drag a gold ore into a slot in the action bar (we'll say it is dragged into the first, far-left slot, which is "1" for default). Now, you can simply press or even hold down the "1" button to drop gold AS you're mining. You can hold down the hot-key the entire time you're mining and it will NOT interrupt the mining as you drop the items. Basically, you can now click on the ore deposit, hold down "1", and you will mine and drop gold non-stop until the deposit runs out. The juju mining potion can be placed into the action bar for quicker access to the potion.
All slots can have their hot-key adjusted by right-clicking. This way, you can customize the hot-key to the keyboard button of your choice.
Ways the action bar adjusts skilling that I have seen:
Place grimy herbs in the action bar for quick cleaning while on an herb run
Place food for quick healing
Place any ores or fish for quick dropping
Place teleports and teleport tablets for quick teleporting
Place potions for quick boosting/healing/whatever they're used for
There's some examples off the top of my head. Hopefully that helped!

Re: December Skill Weekend Poll
This is getting interesting, still a pretty close race =p. Some persuading may need to be done for those not voting for dungeoneering or mining =p. Pssst people, vote for dungeoneering, because it's awesome! And plus, you know you want to continue working towards getting a chaotic, whether your first or another one, because they're simply amazing to use, especially now with EoC ;). Plus, DGing is just fun in general =p, and if clannies do them together during the weekend, it can be a lot of fun and beneficial to everybody, which is the main point =D. Just my two cents (as anybody would expect out of me xD) ^^'
