KoA Bot Killing Extravaganza!

Come on out to the Wildy and help eradicate the bots once and for all!

Once you get the jist of this, it is quite easy and for the most part safe. THIS IS NOT A SAFE EVENT! YOU WILL BE SKULLED AND COULD LOSE EVRYTHING ON YOU! There will always be the possibility of you being killed. This is not likely to happen but it could be possible. There should be enough of us to take care of any trouble that may occur but I definitely want everyone to know the risks involved! If you die there will enough of us and we will pick up as much of your stuff up as possible and give it back to you. This is an official event and Mumble can not be made mandatory but I would strongly urge you to consider using it. It greatly reduces explanation time and it makes it very easy to ask for help while in combat (its near impossible to type in chat while you are fighting, much less read it). If you are considering using Mumble please install it before the event and test it out. Click here for the link to the Forum post on Mumble. It can take some time to go throught Audio Wizard and get it sorted. There is generally Staff available that can help you with this.

What we will be doing:
We will be killing green dragon bots. For the most part these bots are harmless enough. They will occasionally come over and hit you but they immediately go back to killing dragons.

Once you get the hang of it, you can get upwards of 400 dragon bones an hour. Although the real fun here is 1) Helping prevent botting and 2) The thrill of the kill. I will try and have some members standing guard over us as everyone learns how to do it. You need level 85 magic to tele-block if you can't don't have it don't worry we will tele-block for you. Just call out who you want and we'll tele-block them for you.

And if you want to be real cool, go to Edge ahead of time and get your Wildstalker Helment from Mr. Ex (just east of the General Store). Once you have 10 kills it is activated and will track your killing prowlness, oh and it has a cool emote and you can turn yourself into a statue and show others your PK'ing abilities.

What to equip:
Black D'Hide Body or your highest level D'Hide
Black D'Hide Chaps or your highest level D'Hide
Black D'Hide Vambraces or your highest level D'Hide
Snakeskin Boots or Leather Boots
Glory
Explorer's Ring
Archer's Helm or any other range head gear
Rune Crossbow
100 - Emerald (e) or Rune P++ Bolts
Anti-Dragon Shield
Ava's Accumulator
10 - Tele-Block Runes (Level 85 Magic) 10-Laws, 10-Chaos, 10-Deaths
5-10 - Food (your choice)
Optional - War Tort ot other type of BOB (Beast of Burden), once you get the hang of it you'll need the BOB for carrying the bones

This is a total risk of under 250k.

I will be there to help teleblock if needed. I will also be heavily geared up for pker defence.
The green dragons are in a single-combat area. If another pker does show up and attack you, and you don't want to or feel comfortable attacking back, you can turn your back to them, and allow another KOA member to take over.

A Korasi works fine on bots or just a Dragon dagger P++.
I would add: to wear a charged glory amulet, which allows you to tele in up to lvl 30 wildy.
I would also bring a few prayer pots and anti poison.
If I think of anything else I will add it later.

You will skull while attacking bots, I would suggest praying protect item at all times, which will protect your most valuable item, being as we probably won't be in a high-risk world.

Since there will be several of us there skulled, in all reality, I don't see s problem with pkers. I think I would go the other way if I ran into a mob of skulled players.

I've always thought this would be fun, and I would love some dragon bones...I will be there if at all possible! And even more, a chance to officially wear my snakeskin boots!

Sounds like a fun event =). I've done some bot killing before, and it can be quite fun and rewarding =D. I'll do my best to be there, I think I can make it hopefully.

Woo Hoo! This went much better. Only a couple people died because we RULED the green dragons! It was awesome! Thank You so much everyone that came. You made this one heck of an event. We stayed up there two hours. I finally had enough but many people stayed to continue our quest to kill alll the bots.

There were so many bots and so many dragons it was hard to get good screenies. Here are a few pic's. Pay attention to the mini map and see all the orange dots!
