This is a dangerous activity. There is a portal in edgeville that will tele you straight to the KBD lair, in the event of a death you should be able to reclaim your items in under 1 minute.

An anti-dragon/dragonfire Shield in conjunction with an antifire potion are essential if you want to fight the King Black Dragon, as without the dragon can hit well over 4,000. Make sure to have both the shield and antifire potion, otherwise the dragon can still hit over 2,000.
There are no specific levels required to fight this monster, but for players who wish to Melee in a team, having a combat level in the mid 80's should be enough and for players who wish to fight using Ranged in a team, having a Ranged level in the mid 60's will suffice.
Drops range from rune items/ores/bars to Draconic Visage, Crimson charms & blood runes are common drops as well. Hope to see you there!
