yes, the only one that boosts wc-ing as far as I know.

How to prepare:
There is a good opportunity to gain 8k wc exp in 5 seconds..
This is what you need to do before every session: go to sawmill and do the large job (its a very easy minigame, takes about 10 min) and don´t finish the job !! It will be there when u log out or even if you go away.

so..right after you log in to start your session.. finish the job at the sawmill, gain your 8k exp and tele to the spot you would like to use to wc.

we havn´t tested the exp rate of the sawmill if you do it for the whole hour.. but I will have the data soon.

If someone needs help with sawmill, i´ll gladly help.

1. Hexables
2. 94
3. Do you agree to train Wc at least for 4 full hours during that week and post the results on KoA forums? Yes!
4. Do you agree to use the best ( fastest) method to train available at your level? I plan to do it on ivy, if that's cool :P

I did a half hour of large sawmill jobs and got 41.6k xp (using your complete a previous job once you log in method) so it seems to be around 75k/hr

It seems like we have over 10 members that would like to do this, and so far, all members who have applied have much higher wc'ing levels and abilities (summoning) than I do. Therefore, unless someone drops out or something weird happens, I volunteer to sit out for the better xp rate of the clan as a whole.

Sign ups will close on Sat around 3 pm BST.

Thank you Imp for testing sawmill :)

So far it seems to me the exp rates are pretty much the same on ivy/teak/C2 dunging/sawmill.
So I´d say its up the everyone how you would like to train.
Only thing I ask everyone to do is to have those 8k ready at the sawmill before you start your session.

Dungeoneering C2 seems to me to be faster though, if there are 3 people on team- 1 wc-er and 2 those who clear the floor and kill the boss. ( we gained exp rate around 74k with Imp but he had to help me with killing the boss usually).
I would be ready to be a dung cleaner for those who would like to dung for wc.

Edit: dunging only works if u have at least 90 wc-ing.

Now I tested the full hour of sawmill.
I managed to get 86k exp/per hour at sawmill, using the method I described in my previous post.

Planning cuttin ivy/teaks could fail because there will be over 100 clans cutting wood during that week and the spots can be easily overcrowde which means if you fight for resources your exp might be a lot sloer than normally.

Unless you´re planning doing C2 ( dung) wc-ing ( which seems to be fastest way at lvl 90) then I recommend going to sawmill and see how it works for you.

(I apologize if this is in the wrong thread) Anyone have any advice as to where and what I should wc for the best exp at lvl 87? All advice would be greatly appreciated! I will be doing what Lady Kal advised with starting off at sawmill but what should I train on after I do that?

oh, and I don't think dung training would work for me since I'm only lvl 55

teak/ivy/arctic pines should be best options.
Gilly is testing ivy and teak, I think she is the same lvl, so maybe she can tell it better.

I have all my dung floors opne, so if anyone wants to do dung wc, I´m ready to help clearing the floors durign the whole week.

Please note: you need to log out fully ( not into lobby) to start and end the session.

PM received from Mod Timbo today:
Hey guys,

Skilling Cup - Week One is a go! The skilling for the Skilling Cup started at 00:01 BST/Forum Time on Monday 2nd July and will stop at 23:59 BST/Forum Time on Sunday 8th July.

In addition, the rules have been fully updated including an FAQ and more information how scoring works.

A lot of people have been asking if their clan 'made' it in time for the registration so here is the list of all of the clans whom I have received their 10 participants.

*** If your clan is NOT here but you still want to sign up, please post your 10 members on the Clan Cup thread. If it happens in weeks two or three then you will not registered so make sure you get it in on time! ***

Reminding everyone, if you´re still doing wc-ing, LOG OUT FULLY

This is what Timbo has said:
Logging out to the lobby *should* be ok but it's not 100% which is why we strongly recommend logging out fully to end a session.

If you're looking for some advice or my opinion, I would ask whoever has just logged out to the lobby to do it again and fully log out to be 100% certain.

Timbo
Jagex has a habit to post the rules after the competition has started, so I hope " should be ok" works
