Because I was officially tired of Soul Wars (SW is great for XP rewards, but it blows for Summoning charm rewards), I decided to get charms the old fashion way; NPC killing. When I saw Hid talking about how he camped at Dustys collecting crimson charms, I decided to follow his example and try it out.

The last time I was there was a couple of years ago. I had just gotten a high enough slayer level to be able to kill Dustys. I camped out there for a few days trying to get the famed Dragon Chainbody drop, to no avail. After a few days, I gave up and attempted to do something else.

Well, last night, after only a few hours of Dusty camping I finally got the vaunted D Chain! *the crowd goes WILD* I'm stupidly excited about it. Granted that it's not as prized as it used to be, but when I started RS, the D Chain was THE drop to get. I know that it sells for just over 6M, but I'll be keeping this one. I still have my first D plateleg drop that I ever got (I'm wearing it in the screenshot).

Note: I was wearing the ring of wealth. I don't know if that had any effect, but for those of you keeping score, I had it equipped at the time.

I've never gotten anything good from a clue, but I've had some great drop luck...

Best Ever: I got an Abby Whip on back to back Slayer tasks...4.9mil each!
Luckiest Ever: One Steel Dragon Task, I got 2 Dlegs and 2 Dskirts! That was crazy!
Quickest Luck Drop: I got a Range Ammy my 3rd Aquanite kill. Everyone there hated me! :P

Best drops were definitely when I could slay whips when they were selling for 25 mil each.

250th slayer task was black dragons, so I thought why not solo KBD and I ended up with:

Best drops for me have been:

D Chain from solo'ing KQ (D chains were 15mil at the time)
Guthans Spear when it was 6mil
D Med from fire giants when it was 500k

I've also had almost all the barrows pieces when they were worth decent money (exceptions being Veracs Helm, Guthans Helm and Dharoks Helm - I just don't seem to get much luck with Barrows Helms lol)

Also got the KBD heads (I've killed it twice. Ever.)

I wanted to see how many drops i could get in a month of pvm so i piced all splits i got and here are the results.

Image

Most splits were 3-4 man, the elixir was 3 man corporeal beast, the two saradomin swords were 6 or 7 i think was just a bunch of freinds having fun :)
