SotC: Build Tick 17 Citadel Upgrade Edition

Welcome to the State of the Citadel, Build Tick 17, where I post our weekly progress building the best award-winning citadel resources can buy.

The Important Part
Cut 64565 logs, mine 39640 stone, smith 44576 bars and 31595 precious bars, and weave 51490 cloth this week. Check the target goals in-game to see what needs to be worked on. Try to gather 10% of your cap at the Summoning Obelisk.


What's New
We now have a T3 Loom and T3 Obelisk, meeting all requirements to start work on a T6 Citadel!.

T6 Citadel: 60000 logs, 35000 stone, 40000 bars, 30000 precious bars, 50000 cloth
T5 Woodcutter: 1700 logs, 1000 stone, 150 bars, 70 precious bars, 200 cloth
T5 Mine: 350 logs, 650 stone, 400 bars, 200 precious bars, 350 cloth
T4 Loom: 600 logs, 800 stone, 300 bars, 100 precious bars, 250 cloth
T4 Obelisk: 550 logs, 550 stone, 200 bars, 200 precious bars, 550 cloth

Customizations
Grand Armadyl Statue: 98% complete (80000/80000 stone, 23499/25000 bars, 20000/20000 pbars)
Pristine Keep Door: 1% complete (4108/200000 logs, 0/20000 bars, 154/20000 pbars)
Filigreed frame with Brocade banner: 7% complete (0/10000 logs, 0/12000 bars, 11540/55000 cloth)

Resources
We're gathering for a T6 Citadel as well as T4 Loom and T4 Obelisk. This leaves the total upkeep + upgrade resource requirement at a crazy XXXX logs, XXXX stone, XXXX bars, XXXX precious bars, and XXXX cloth. In-game targets have been set to reflect this. Try and do 10% of your cap at the Obelisk. Do not over-gather ore or charcoal as we cannot store them in the storehouse, we want to finish the week with 0 ore and 0 charcoal. After the upkeep + upgrade requirements are met I'll adjust the goals upward to cover customizations. Customizations always come after any building upgrades.

Next Week
We'll have upgraded buildings and can continue working on T6 Citadel.

How to read the resources screen
To access the resources screen, click the Citadel Interface button (where you'd normally bring up the map) and then click the view resources tab:

The different resources are listed, along with the quantity gathered. The red bar shows how much we need for upkeep, this is the most critical. Yellow is how much we need for the marked building upgrades, also critical for our progress. The green is the surplus that'll be put towards customizations or stored in the storehouse. The blue marker (not shown) is our primary target while the yellow markers are other targets. I set these targets to (usually) upkeep + upgrade + storehouse cap.

You can find a simplified version in your production tab:

Here we see that there is much more stone gathered than timber, so in this case you should concentrate your efforts on cutting roots. As more and more types of resources are gathered it'll be your responsibility to check these screens and determine where your efforts are needed.

at a rough estimate, I reckon that is about 300k resources that we need. Nice easy week then...? :)

We can use minions (from summoning) to substitute some of the bars, right? Should cut down on some of the resources needed.

Unless I'm misunderstanding something (wouldn't be the first time).

Minions are great as they are automatically applied to what we need most. However, they aren't a shortcut: when used in lieu of bars it takes 3 minions to substitute 1 bar.

Tamal, can you change the build priority order so that the t4 obelisk is higher than that of the t6 citadel, otherwise it won't be built for weeks? On a more positive note, we've hit our upkeep targets already.., albeit using minions

Thanks for the catch Cur; I've been experiencing a lot of click lag recently and I suspect it's the culprit.

We also have 4317 wildcard minions. All upkeep, Loom upgrade, and Obelisk upgrade are covered. We're now chipping away at the Citadel (5% covered).
