I have a bridal shower to go to that is for my God-Mothers daughter. If I had a choice in the matter I'd much rather be partcipating in the Amazing Race. However, I'm sure as adults we all understand how you have obligations that must be met. I've had the invitation on my fridge now for three weeks and it was my fault it was an oversight. I take blame for not remembering the date but it's just one of those things that happens. Im sure I'm not the first to overlook one of those looming invitations and most certainly won't be the last. If someone could be gratious enough to take my place I would appreciate it. While the situation is unfortunate, it is out of anybody's control. Mistakes and real life just happen. Let us not forget this is a game to be enjoyed, not to be made to feel guilty over.
Again, my apologies as I know it takes a lot of hard work and long hours to plan such events. I'm grateful to everybody who spent time planning but I will regretfully miss the event. I wish those that do participate have the best of time and wish I could be there. If something happens and it can be moved back an hour or two I'll be happy to participate. If not.... GOOD LUCK RACERS!!
