Tip.It has spies everywhere

If you look at my Tip.It skill sig, you'll see that it has my Dungeoneering skill level of 5 (it's 5 as of this posting). How does Tip.It know that I wonder, given that it's WAY below the minimum req for hiscores? Thoughts?

Tip.it pays Jagex? Or Jagex freely provides access to such information to fan sites ?

It probally has something to do with your skill total vs the skill levels they can check.

It's available in your Adventurer's Log. Perhaps they are pulling it from there?

I thought tip.it and jagex had some sort of partnership. It was announced on the tip.it site quite a while back, maybe a year ago?

They are recognized as an "official" fansite. Now jagex has a rating system, they are in the 2nd to highest category.

Lighting is still involved with tipit. And She has been on andrews freinds list since day One.

It is easily calculated from subtracting the addition of your ranked XP from your total XP. Since all other skills are ranked, any extra XP has to be in dungeoneering, therefore they can calculate it. It's a simple script.

It's be intersting to see if the dungeoneering level is accurate for someone who doesn't have all skills ranked.

It's the magic of computer coding and scripts. (Though im not a computer science technie) but with the world of information on our fingertips it would be easy to get access to your runescape account data.
