Fair Warning for 1st timers: You should never attempt to fight the Dagannoth Kings with items you are not willing to risk losing, and while there should expect your death as a possibility at all times.
They can be pretty mean (lvl 303 & attack with all 3 forms of dmg) but, after a trip or two it's pretty easy to get the hang of what your are supposed to do and what your role is.
Here are a couple of decent guides that I highly recommend reading through if you haven't been before, they might seem a bit lengthy but, just running in gung-ho and/or unprepared could not only mean your death but, the death of some of your team as well. So its best to read up a little on it, to know what to expect.

You don't need a Guthan set (which both guides recommend) normal melee/range hybrid gear works. If you have questions about alternatives for equipment, feel free to ask. Also, I intend to be on Lunar spellbook to tele-group to waterbirth so, you can mostly ignore the traveling advice.
If any experienced DK killers have anything helpful they want to share, by all means do.
