I will be setting up a clan event in the next month. We have to get past Runefest for those who are attending, but want to learn how to raid. Below is a good link to start with. Raids use the grouping system, so you will need to become familiar with this as well.

Watch the video and ask question in the cc. Also it is very important to have mumble installed or if we switch over to team speak3. You won't need to chat, but just be able to listen in for instructions. After awhile you won't need to use mumble

Raids is actually a lot of fun and the loot right now starts at 1-1.5mil plus on each kill. You can only raid for loot once every 48 hours.

Was going to do it this weekend, but will wait till after DXP and Runefest. I will still take anyone with me that wants to try this weekend being on the same team. Just pm me in game and lets have mumble ready. It will be very helpful to provide commentary during the fight to understand the fight mechanics and what to expect next/eliminate an error that would cause a death

You really want to wear your highest level mage or range equipment for a balance of tank/dps. The gravestone spawns in Mazcab. Very easy to get to within 2 minutes.

My Mage gear for Durzag:

Nox staff
Seasinger top
Seasinger bottom
Subj hood, boots, gloves
Sixth age circuit
penance or vamp aura (If penance then i drop the prayer flask for food)
sign of life
fire cape or better from kiln
dragon rider ammy
air runes
1 overload flask
1 prayer pots
1 super restore flask
1 W++ weapon poison flask for increased dps
Yak full of best food (Rocktails)
enhanced Excalibur sword
50 dreadnips
rest of the backpack rocktails or sharks (now)
Prayer curse on ability bar both deflect missiles and deflect melee

My Range setup:

Dual Ascensions or Nox Bow
Death Lotus top and bottom
Arma helm / gloves / boots
Rest standard gear from above related to range

Only the very brave / insane will Melee durzag

Really anyone can do this with our help. Aerumnous is the raids guru, it really helps to have mumble or team speak 3 together. We are always willing to help you understand the fight mechanics and get your first 2 kills in. Please watch the posted video link a couple of times then ask us in game to get you going.

Anyone willing to try please post on this thread so we have an idea of numbers. Be great to have a full team of KoA Raiders.

Great job today VictedSniper who got his 2 Durzag kills in today, and almost a 3rd if it wasn't for noobish elitist host who kicked him for his polypore staff He still rocked it at just under 7 min.
