when on the forums on the top of every page is the 6 most recent topics, half of these are taken up by global announcements that stay cemented at the top.

I'm quite used to this as have been using nuke sites for years and the phpBB forums always seem to have that mod on nuke sites, I quite like being able to see the 6 most recent posts.

I know this is site related and not clan but I couldnt think where else to put it.

A few people have commented that it is confusing that when you click on a forum it shows posts from other forums at the top.

Should we remove this module or keep it?

We could also remove it from forums and add something simular to the mainpage if people prefer it.

we could also keep it and expand the amount of posts to 10 (or decrease)

I'm really not sure what to do with it so any ideas would be warmly welcomed

For new members, it's a bit confusing at first. But once you get used to it, it's nice to see the most recent posts at a glance.

Seeing the most recent posts is useful, but not on every page of the forums.  I'd like to see it removed from every page, and placed on the main page, showing the 10 most recent posts.  Scrolling down on every page is a pain.

OK yeah that makes sense, problem is it's not a default option. Will certainly add it to the to do list, it does seem a bit stupid that it's on every page.
