Welcome to the State of the Citadel, Build Tick 4, where I post our weekly progress building the best citadel resources can buy.
Last Week
We met our resource targets, great job everyone! We've upgraded to a T3 Citadel! W00t we have a party room! We also have a T2 Storehouse (1.2k resource cap) and a T2 Mine. The map has been changed to layout 4 at daytime.
Upkeep required
Logs: 4050
Stone: 3150
Available building upgrades (selected)
Storehouse T3: 1600 logs, 800 stone, 300 bars
Battlefield T2: 400 logs, 800 stone
Woodcutter T3: 750 logs, 300 stone, 50 bars
Mine T3: 600 logs, 600 stone
Firemaking Kiln T1: 300 logs, 500 stone
Furnace T1: 200 logs, 500 stone
Available customizations
Two new combat hotspots, a bunch of other keep customizations (party room benches/tables, banners, doors, tapestries, sundials.) In general, I'm reluctant to waste resources on customizations until we can build the "Grand" options.
Resources
We need bars to upgrade other buildings (requires T3 Mine, T1 Kiln, and T1 Furnace) however we can only upgrade two skill plots at a time. I've marked the Kiln and Furnace to be built this week and we'll take care of the T3 Mine next week. I've also marked the Battlefield to be upgraded as it's the only other available upgrade that can be completed this tick. This leaves the total upkeep + upgrade resource requirement at 4950 logs and 4950 stone. We should store 1.2k resources for next week at 10% (12k surplus). In-game targets have been set to reflect this.
Next Week
We'll have a T1 Firemaking Kiln and T1 Furnace. We won't be able to use the charcoal from the Kiln (so don't make any) and we won't be able to use the Furnace as we won't have ore. Thus, this week will be largely unchanged. We will work towards a T3 Mine so we can get ore and start cranking out metal bars. Switching to nighttime, same layout.

TL;DR
Cut at least 16950 logs and mine 16950 stone this week.

Seriously, your plan of upgrading on the "grand" scale, rather than focusing on the customizations is outstanding, and I support it 100%.
Now, the only task remaining: Plan a resource gathering event, followed by a dance party! I'll bring a keg!

Also for next week can we expect to set the upgrade to a T2 furnace or kiln? I'm pulling for furnace as it seems more crucial to further upgrades.
Currently playing: Civilization V, Hearthstone, Dwarf Fortress II, Golf (IRL).

It's very likely that next week's skill plot upgrades will be T3 Mine plus T2 Furnace OR T2 Kiln. They are both needed to produce bars (and reach T4 Citadel) so I'm not sure one can be considered more crucial than the other.

My thoughts behind the furnace is because we need T4 furnace to make precious bars, yet the higher tier kilns don't make anything different.
