Dg'ing with Kevin (Kevinsaurus)

Post by Dave » Sun Jun 24, 2012 5:50 am

Been having some fun doing duo suicide floors with Kevin (Kevinsaurus) lately.

One of our best floors, 12:15 abandoned 2 (end says 13:15, but if you see the last minute of the vid the leech was afk and didn't end):
Essentially 3s1l (Bulging didn't care if he died) in which I nearly got survivor without even trying.

*notes*
12:15 if leech wasn't afk.
Big mistakes on my part...
Entire floor - not flashing turmoil near as much as I should.
4:58 - 5:20 I ever so slowly decide to break psh for grcr. Should have made that decision much quicker since grco was a de near psh
8:06 should have kept gt and took to grcr, left gt at that gd and ran southwest gd
8:56 - 9:35....out of pray next to an alter...no comment. Also shouldn't have died on teleing back.

And our attempt at a 2s3l, should have been a sub17 except I screwed up.

It's definitely been loads of fun dging with you Dave :), and we've definitely had our good floors and bad floors haha. Glad to see you recorded these two though, they were pretty good! Hopefully we can duo a sub15 soon or something =p. (What recording software do you use btw?)

I've been using Debut Video Capture Software Professional v 1.64 (NCH Software). It seems to work alright so I'll keep using it.

Do you sell floors to people or just help out?

I'm a dunge noob, so I have to ask: Why's your prestige at 0? Is it because it's a floor you've already done?

Yes, I have all my abandoned 2 themed floors done so the prestige is 0.

Both, for the both of us. Lol. Well, at least, I think generally Dave doesn't sell floors, but I do because that's the only way I have of making money on my account. So when I'm dging I'm usually selling floors. I'll either split with Dave when he duos or he just tags along and suis and helps too =p (so much funnnn dgingggg).

Kevin summed it up pretty good, I don't sell floors. I sui most of the time, sometimes taking splits when its with friends who sui.

sui = suiciding. It's when you see my death messages in the chat box every 10 seconds. xD lol jk. But yea it's basically just dging without caring about dying, so you basically don't take any food, and you just use deaths to your advantage (to wrath to deal damage, or to get back to base quickly to open doors and path and such)

*don't take much food*

In my opinion its still good to have 2-3 eels in order to survive short dead end paths when not free gate. Even when suiciding most floors you don't get too many deaths unless there's some real horrible rooms.

Say, what's that map thing on the upper left corner of the video? Looks bleeding useful!
