I think I've heard of this before (don't recall where, honestly!)

They'll direct you to a site with a Java applet that requests access to your system (that security pop-up you see when you run RuneScape) under the premise that the Java applet is the cam app. If you grant permission the applet has complete write access to your system and will install keyloggers/trojans/whatever.
