Climbing Boots update

i gotta say this was probably the worst why they could have "fixed" it other than making the value even higher. though i don't really care about this update making a few people lucky (thats just life) it does make me seriously wonder what is going on with jagex. it seems the updates just get worse and worse and when they can't come up with a bad one they find ways to piss people off.


on a side note if any of you want to suggest to jagex that wine should high alc for 40k i got over 7k jugs of it.

I guess we have different opinions, Paul. There are few game updates that I disagree with or cannot see why JaGeX felt they were needed. There are also few new content releases that confuse me as to why JaGeX thinks anyone would like them.

I'm not a quester, so the constant quest release every couple of weeks bores me, but I understand that those quests appeal to a wide variety of players. Although, I am usually disgusted with the pathetic requirements of most of the quests that are released. I am surprised to see those few new quests whose requirements are higher than skills that someone could earn after 3 days of playing.

I really don't understand why Jagex didn't keep the old climbing boots at the old price and remove their stats, then introduce the new ones with the stats and higher value.

Is it me or would that have been more logical and less emotive? :?

I can't believe they allowed some people to make millions or in case almost a billion coins. Seems silly to me and unfair to players who didn't have a ton of these.

why would anyone have so many boots? unless the info about the price change was leaked to them before the update.

because at the time i had alot of pure mates and people who were pure on my friends list and they were willing to pay more in bulk so i aquired alot also had in my mind for a month or so that i would start a pure and use them. alot of mine were given to me and bought randomly. a few were won staking aswell using them at the value of 1k each back then. either way my loss cant sit on pvp worls selling stuff in trade over price unless your willing to wait 15 mins inbetween trades or willing to aquire junk which i do not want to be part off now.
