Tired of crowded Metal dragons? Want faster Dbone Banking?

Tired of all the bodies clogging up the Karamja dungeon? Bored with the long walk through the vines and dogs? Sick of forgetting your hatchet?
Here's a quick walkthrough (not a fancy guide by any means) of how to beat the masses to the punch , and quickly get those precious Dbones safely into your bank.

The newest quest The Temple at Senntisten has 7 new Steel dragon(!) and 7 new Iron dragon spawns. Once you have completed the quest they are still there for you to slaughter; too far away you say?
Not with lvl 89 Lunar spell 'Ice plateau teleport' , which brings you just a click or two from the entrance of the castle. All you need is to be on your Lunar spellbook, bring some Law runes, Astral runes, and a Mudstaff (or a good supply of earth & water runes). Also bring you standard metal dragon killing gear ofc (couple of anti fire pots, weapons & armor of choice). Once you fill up on Dbones, just tele back to Moonclan bank. Don't forget your SEAL of PASSAGE.
Then tele back to Ice plateau... repeat... easy peasy.
As of now I have banked over 200 new bones with minimal effort and zero competition.

Btw, you don't need the seal of passage if you did the dream mentor quest. Just bank at the most right banker, you can talk to him without having it.

actually Hid i didn't know that... i think i only tried to bank at lunar once w/o the seal and i never tried again ; thats a great 'did you know' trivia
(or maybe its common knowledge and it never trickled down to my ears )

I may be wrong, but even if you've done Dream Mentor, I think you still need the Seal of Passage to get to Lunar Isle via boats. (the two boats won't transport you without the Seal) However, once there, you don't need it to bank with the individual on the far right.

Very cool idea! Have you met any revs where those metal dragons are?

The dragon area is outside of the wildy. Therefore, the only revs you would encouter would be en route.

Lokar will transport you without your seal, he just asks you if you want to go get it. Maybe the game knows if you have one stashed in your bank or not.

I have just used this method, had a friend tip me off on it after he did the quest. It's easy enough to get there by just using the Ardougne lever (there's a lever by the yews in Edgeville that takes you to the same place by the way) spot, running to the Mage bank, then a quick jog to the fortress. Iron Dragons are now officially a "no-cancel" task, and Steels are plausible now that they are separate from the aggressive Irons.

using the lunar tele means : no wildy, no running, no Revs, fast banking

although if you are someone who wants to mage the dragons with normal spells
...mage bank is the closest bank but, you obviously risk seeing Revs

Other than using lunar and ancient magicks to teleport there directly, I prefer using the wilderness altar network to teleport close to the chapel/lava maze and then walking the short distance north.

This is awesome thanks for the tip, kinda a high mage level requirement but once i get it at some point in the future this will be my source for dragon bones. Isnt there an ancients spell that also takes you somewhere close to the ice plateu?

Have used this area for two iron dragon tasks now, and it is soooo much faster than trekking into the Brimhaven dungeon.
I don't have the mage level yet for the lunar tele to the ice plateau, but I am close enough to use a mage pot. However you get there, it is certainly nice to not have to fight for a dragon, and easily bank all the bones.

One more reason for me to get 85 magic so I can pot to teleport there as well. Finally there is an adequate method for banking those dbones I always felt guilty burying.

Now there's yet another area to access these dragons, and possibly a good banking method. I'd try it myself, but an f2p atm.
