~ Festive Cryptic Clue Fest ~
WARNING SPOILERS WILL BE LISTED IN THIS THREAD!
Festive Cryptic Clue Fest is here!
Wait wait, before you get to excited about another Cryptic Clue fest you should note that this isn't like the others that Jagex has released. This Festive CC is simply for earning an extra festive cracker a day.
How does it work? From December 20th to the 24th Jagex will be releasing a clue a day. This clue will give you hints on what NPC you need to talk to and as what item as well as the number of item you have to have in your inventory.
SOOO Lets get started!
Festive Cryptic Clue Fest, Day 1

So here are some tips in order to help you solve the puzzle if you'd like to do it on your own:
Each column represents an item and the number of the item that is required.
The quote above the columns is a reference to the passing (aka death) of Sir Owen during the quest Death of Chivalry, so that is where our next step comes in.
"X3, X4, X27" is the number of each item that you will need.
"H1" is Heading 1.
"P1" Is Paragraph 1.
A 1 follows every H1, as there is only one word, but there are more words in the first paragraph.
The second number refers to the world number.
The last number of each set refers to the letter.
If you use this method you can go down each column and discover the lettering for each of the items needed.
SPOILER WILL BE POSTED BELOW IN THE NEXT POST!!! DO NOT SCROLL DOWN UNLESS YOU WANT TO KNOW THE ANSWER!

Day 2
The Clue
In the UK Christmas often means lots of fancy murder mysteries appearing on TV, so what better puzzle then for you to solve your own murder report!
Coroner's Report #2512 - Examination of victim reveals that the cause of death was suffocation. Although evidence is limited early indications are that the patient was smothered underneath 4 counts of a tall fur cap usually worn by military personnel. The victim was a known deviant, having been incarcerated previously on 6 counts of a-salting swimmers. No real motive has been identified but we do know that the victims 2 prized wind coronets are unaccounted for.
Day 2 answers.... SPOILER ALERT!!!

~ Festive Cryptic Clue Day 2 ~
Well, of course the first thing to do would be to break apart the murder report, and what better way then to focus on the sentences with numbers?
1. (4) A tall fur cap usually worn by military personnel - To be honest, I thought these were made of beaverskin, but upon further research it turns out they are made of bearskin!
2. (6) "A-salting swimmers" - makes me think of my peppering people.
3. (2) A coronet headpiece worn by nobles. Wind is another name for one of the four classical Greek elements. - Something worn on your head that has to do with air.
And of course, view the face of the NPC to see who to take them to.
~ SPOILERS HERE WE COME ~
~ ALMOST THERE ~
NPC: Runestax in Taverly
You must take these items to Runestax in Taverley. She is east of the pub.
ITEMS: 4 Bear skins
6 Anchovies
2 Air tiaras
HAVE FUN and good luck!

~ Festive Cryptic Clue Day 3 ~
All right! So todays clue is a cross word puzzle so the only true way to go through this is to work it out piece by piece and than get the highlighted stuff, or of course focus on the highlighted only am I right?

2. A medieval prison - Dungeon! (My favorite!)

6. A room of green outside - Garden (eek, 99 farming. )

So now all that is left is trying to figure out the highlighted areas, which of course have no clues!
SPOILER ALERT!!!
THE ANSWERS ARE COMING!!!!
What you haven't changed your mind?
Oh okay here they are!
From left to right here we go:
6 Letters, going down... We have T N and R already...
The answer: Tinore! (That bugged me since it was two words technically)
5 of these.
8 letters, going across... We have F E and N....
The answer: Firerune! (Again two words! GAAAHK!)
12 of these.
9 letters, going down... We have N T P and L...
The answer: Uncut opal! (What is with the two words?!)
3 of these.
The numbers of course came from just below the header on the clue.
The NPC you need to take these items to is Sparky in The Poison Arrow pub which is located South East of Ardougne (incase you don't know your pubs ;) ).
Good luck on your crackers!

~ Festive Cryptic Clue Fest Day 4 ~
Whelp, this was a pretty fun clue. It was a lot of trial and error on trying to figure out which runes represented which letters, but at least Jagex gave a hint by telling which 5 runes spelled out Santa!
The key to all the letters is here:
Upon discovering all the letters as to where they go you should come up with this answer:
RIGHT HERE
ALONG THIS WAY
OKAY HERE WE GO
The answer is:
- 6 Chocolate Bars
- 4 Guam
- 10 Empty Pouches
The NPC that these go to is: Faruq in Al Kahrid he is North of the Palace/Lodestone and S W of the North Entrance of Al Kahrid.
Good luck on your crackers!
