Ah, wilderness, to add to the fact I don't have the fletching needed :-?
Still far for me to go to making these. With it being so new, isn't it very crowded in the wilderness trees?

Some trees are not in the wilderness, so if you don't want to go in the Wildy, then you don't have to.

I am aware of the trees I can work on in Soul Wars, Darkmeyer and the Ritual Site. I was just wondering how the wilderness tree cutters can survive. :-?

I think that since you typically get so few logs, that you can cut and fletch them quick enough to not get caught by pk'ers. Also they are most likely swarming with wannabe skillers lacking the skill levels required to make their own to kill those who can make them to take thier bolts. I'd stay away from the wildy trees for now unless you go in a trusted group.

I enjoyed this response at RSOF (my emphasis added):
"Does this mean we will be in a competition at every tree? or does it work like the red sandstone that each person has its 'own'? "

Each person has their own. There should be no competing for the same tree...well other than if you decide to murder the people next to you of course, which, as temporary advocate for pure evil, I think is a marvelous idea.

Another forum post of note:
Hey guys,

It occurs to me that many of you will be using bronze hatchets, or the toolbelt to chop the trees. Using these will provide you with a particularly low yield from each tree.

However, if you use a rune/dragon hatchet, then you should see your yield markedly increase per tree, particularly the wilderness trees.

Bit of a tip for you there.

That's kind of the point, otherwise these would be the most commonly used bolts in game. They are the Woodcutting/Fletching skilling items that can be compared to the Mining/Crafting Flasks. So this means that there might be more high level items that come in skilling pairs.

Ideas of what might be next anyone?

Does the Inferno Adze work the same as a Dragon Hatchet would at the Bloodwood trees?

Mod Raven: Yes.
Ah! Now I don't have to worry about risking a dragon hatchet when visiting wildy Bloodwood trees.

Thanks for the info guys. I went and tried this at the Chaos Temple on world 40 and didn't run into any trouble.

BTW, note that you can only cut the tree at Soul Wars if you've already killed Nomad. Which I haven't. :P

The arrows are currently selling for 1.1k each. If the price drops any more, it won't really be worth the trouble, except for the non-wilderness trees.

Anyone know what these are going for now? I saw the price drop from 5k to 2.5k over the first day.
