Are you trying to get us to join the dark side? lol
Re: Dungeoneering 90 Days In: Verdict?
Yes, I guess I'm representing the only party in KoA that actually likes this skill. Therefore, I must be the loudest!

Not fond of it. Tears have me at level 38.

I like Dung...with Bar-B-Q Sauce!!! lol Sorry, it was an old joke. I played Dung until level 20-something. Tears got me to my current 41. I highly doubt that I'll train Dung any other way from this point forward. I simply didn't enjoy it after the "newness" of it wore off.

Re: Dungeoneering 90 Days In: Verdict?
After reading all of these posts I thought I'd give it another try over the weekend. I went on down into the dungeon and went about my business, making bars, runes, some weapons, I went and killed all the monsters and the boss at the end, Icy Bones i believe was his name. I was in there for a good 20 minutes maybe. My reward was 4 tokens. 4 tokens?!?! How on earth are any of the rewards supposed be achieveable when you get so few of the tokens that are required to get them? The one I would like is the bonecrusher, but at 34,000 tokens, there's no way i'm going to waste my time with dungeoneering anymore, it's not worth it. It's the most redonkulous "skill" there is.

Once you get your prestige up to 35 you can get over 5000 tokens on floors 30-35 doing large 5 person dungeons. Basically just grind through all the floors and get your prestige up before giving up completely.gk willie wrote:After reading all of these posts I thought I'd give it another try over the weekend. working with other players is worse than solo. every time i have tried the other people either stand around well i do the work or end up leaving half way through. its great that they gave people a way to play with each other for those who like to but its just unbearable for me.
Re: Dungeoneering 90 Days In: Verdict?
I guess I'm in the majority, Level 51 from tears, peng points and lamps. I have yet to set foot in dung.
Re: Dungeoneering 90 Days In: Verdict?
good skill shame i fail at it =p
Re: Dungeoneering 90 Days In: Verdict?
if it didn't take so long to a floor solo i'd probably like it better.
Re: Dungeoneering 90 Days In: Verdict?
Given all the negative feedback against dungeoneering in the rs community as a whole Jagex will no doubt put out more rewards or methods to sweeten the "torture." As of now I don't enjoy it either.

Re: Dungeoneering 90 Days In: Verdict?
The newest update wherein they have resource spawns and greater access to Slayer monsters seems very much like a plea of "please train Dungeoneering! We'll give you free stoofs!"
Seems like higher level Slayers should have more access to Slayer monsters by virtue of their Slayer level. And herb spawns are just kinda nonsensical.

I'm bitter that Jagex has spent $50+ million of RS subscriptions developing other games instead of improving RS. If you're reading one of my posts and I even allude to Dungeoneering as a "skill" instead of minigame, keep that in mind.

Re: Dungeoneering 90 Days In: Verdict?
I like this skill.
Firstly, there are few f2p that are high dung as you need high combat to make it work well, which few f2p have with the restriction on training spots.
Secondly, I don't like the fact that it takes a long time to get into the skill, which puts a lot of people off.
But I like the variation, the teamplay, the fact that there is so much scope to add to the skill. Currently level 77 and counting! Rewards are expensive though!
