I actually planned ahead this time like many others I'm sure.
Herb -> Gem cutting -> Summoning I believe.

Tree run and crafting for me.
I'm doubtful there will be much change in prices as a) most people anticipated another weekend and have already been stocking up, and b) many have already invested hundreds of millions in herbs to try and profit.Darth Kaz2 wrote:From the tone of these posts and past experience, it looks like herbs, seconds, and tree seeds will spike before the bonus weekend. Investors take note. ;)

woop! about time. I've been saving up a lot of gems, staves, orbs, so should get a couple of crafting levels. After that is herby all the way until I run out, and then it's summoning. Estimated levels: 2 craft, 1-2 herb, 1 summ.

Dave,
Yeah, the trick is deciding when to sell. I have done well selling the weekend after the initial announcment, which is this weekend. I will probably sell this Sunday evening.

(to answer my own question...)
I'll be doing a farm run, then a few hours of herblore. Hoping to get a farming level and a few herblore levels (94 or 95).
Still need to do Prisoner of Glouphrie so I can plant 2 spirit trees. Other than that, I'm ready. I hope.

Hmm, I might either mine or Dungeoneer.
Re: Bonus XP Weekend: September 9th - 12th
One will be using the occassion to improve ones herbaciousness and crafting. Then one will be partaking in a little hunting.
Re: Bonus XP Weekend: September 9th - 12th
There will be a crash in herbs about 4 days before the weekend, followed by a spike about 4 - 6 hours before the weekend begins, this spike will continue well into the first day of BXP. I've got about 180k Lantadymes which i'll be selling stratigically so that the market is not affected, as dumping that amount all at once would result in a total crash (it's about 1.2B in lantadymes)

Don't forget potions will most likely be dirt cheap for a little while after BXPW starts. Last weekend I got a few k potions for next to nothing.

I did RC last time, but it felt like such a waste! IDK, maybe Dung.
That's kind of part why I'm usually not in a particular hurry to power level. Only time I Really focused on training was to bump up to koa requirements ( hmmm, a year ago?).
(The other reason is I get too impatient. lol Will definately be making the most of the weekend. ;] )
