that was weird.. i didnt see myself jump but I saw some red lights or something, and the text.

Yeah, what the heck was that? It was nothing I've ever seen before. I had my public and pm's off as I was otherwise occupied, so didn't hear anything about it. But it looked pretty sweet.

I wasn't online for this but perhaps since both f2p and p2p were affected, it has something to do with the new skill.

A Jagex Mod stated on RSOF that it had NOTHING to do with the earthquake in Haiti.

However....

Had this in my inbox from Mod Mark H:

"Today at about 7.45pm GMT, players who were logged it were given a strange message and found themselves glowing for a few seconds in-game.

This is not a bug, or anything malicious in nature.

However we won't be saying what it is either. ;)

Please assure players it's not a bug or glitch or anything of that nature.

The official forums have a lot of speculation and discussion on the topic.

Yesterday When I was at pc I thought a player did that to me, Dint know what happen. Just shrugged it went to the bank

wow that is certainly strange, once in a lifetime scenery. what a reminder to everybody of the Haiti earthquake.

Too bad I wasn't on when it happened would have been neat to see. Zaros would be cool as hes always seemed like an interesting god to me. It'll be neat to see how it turns out, maybe even something to do with a second god war... but i doubt it. It could also have something to do with a new skill eventually.
