yanno its funny, i used to be self sufficent, due to the fact that world 2 fally used to be my worst experience everytime. so i found getting resources myself was easier then dealing with all those merchs and bots scattered all over fally..lol.

now however with the G.E. i find it easier to just buy it, *sigh* progress has its downside i suppose lol.

I used to collect all my own material, but I'm older and wiser, so I buy lots-o-stuff at the GE now.

I am mostly self sufficient unless I need an item that I will have a lot of trouble getting on my own. Sometimes I buy things. I bought my barrows armor instead of doing barrows forever to try to get all the pieces. I've never had 100's of millions of gps though so I can't just buy whatever I want, anyway.

Most of the time i am a gatherer, unfortunately our bank space doesnt allow for that on a grand scale. I use the GE mostly to sell stuff, but there are occassions (when i have the money and am close to lvling something) that I do purchase items form the GE.

I am a bit of both, depending on what the item is and how fast i want it..
