I'm hoping that the real numbers will be lower so we don't have to go back to the low level spots and also because I think they mentioned wanting to have it use other ingredients as well, so for the same amount of xp you might use half energy, half addy platebody or w/e.

Depends on how you train. Most people use the energy when converting the enhanced memories. I usually have to save up energy just to make the boon for next area.
