For some of us, job or family limit our availability to attend or host events. I would MUCH prefer to host events at around 4pm Eastern (9pm GMT) so many more from the clan could attend, but I'm usually not available to do so until 9 or 10pm Eastern (2 or 3am GMT). Such is life. (P.S. I'm not speaking for others here.)

There's plenty of events at convenient UK time and if there aren't enough we can always organise our own. I don't personally see an issue

Personally, I host my events around this time because it's when I know I can be on.

I did a little research.

There were 14 "UK time" evening events last month and 11 "American time" evening events. There was also an all day Star Hunting event.
