Second Annual Secret Santa


Ok for those of you who would like to join in the 2nd Annual Secret Santa, I will start taking names on Sunday November 21st. Names will be handed out Saturday November 27th.

Here is how it will work this year; hopefully it will be better than last years.

I will take names either by response to this post, in game pm, or site messages.

I will not take names after November 26th. So no last minute sign ups.

I will not take names of others than the one requesting to be added. For example
John says "“Hey Gilly, Jayne asked me to sign her up for Secret Santa”

A list will be made up with numbers and names on November 27th each person on the list will choose a number. You will get a name in return for a number. Then you will have to figure out what to get that person, price limit up to what the trade limit is for between you and the person you are getting a gift for.

When I start handing out names I will put up a list of names and those on the list will need to post their trade limits. Or post your trade limit with your request and I will put it on the first page as the list is made.

If you forget who you are supposed to get a gift for, send me a site message and I will reply.

Even though we will be handing out gifts at the KOA birthday party, don't worry if you can't make it. You can always give the gift some time after the party.

If you won't be able to be online to give your gift by December 31st let me know and I will help with the transfer of the gift. I am hoping that everyone who joins will be able to get a gift. Last year some didn't because of time schedules and people leaving the clan. Please if you join in and then decide to leave, give me the gift and I will get it to the right person.

I would love to participate, but i have no clue how secret santa works over internet. I suppose i could trade some nice items in game, but then the "secret" part of secret santa won't be secret anymore. :/ Also I'm worried that i'm not imaginative enough to come up with an interesting gift, because i've never done this over the web...

when you trade someone its the slider bar thing at the bottom of trade screen that says "I can recieve x gp more"

yes kor, it would be a trade over the internet with game items. the secret part is you wont know who youre getting a gift from till they get it to you. the purpsoe of this is to find out more about clan members that you wouldnt normally interact with becaus eof timeing or something. This worked pretty good last year and was interesting and fun. Several people i know did some serisous questionsing of other members to find out what their gift should be for the person they were given. and it made people a bit closer i believe. Basically this is all about fun, nothing more lol.

Memorise of giving kal over 5k burnt fish a few years ago came back to mind. and yes thats what she asked for (jokingly), i wanted tunas and she said shed take burnt fish. lmao
