WORLD: World 64
TIME: 8:00-9:00 PM GMT
Quick little 1 hour event ;)
I will be doing level 1 clues by pickpocketing hams. It's good to wear a full ham outfit while doing this. Luckily, you can get the clothing while picking their pockets LOL.
I enjoy doing clues in RS because (in the words of Forrest Gump) "you never know what you're gonna get" it's like opening a present hehe. Sometimes it's junk, but could be something really nice!
If I want to do level 1 clues, I pickpocket the ham people. Level 15 thieving required to pickpocket the women hams and level 20 thieving for the male hams.
Click the following link for info about pickpocketing hams:

If I want level 2 clues, I like to kill daganoth under the lighthouse so I can collect herb seeds at the same time. I have been told that killing guards is a good way to get level 2 clues. Harpie Swarms and Pyrefeinds are also good level 2 clue droppers. A friend told me he kills Cockatrice for level 2 clues and he thinks they drop more than guards.
Hellhounds are good level 3 clue droppers.
The following link takes you to the Runescape treasure trail info page:
http://www.runescape.com/kbase/guid/treasure_trails
GENERAL INFO:
Level 1 clue scroll: Do not have coordinate clues, therefore watch, sextant and chart are not requred. These do not requre you to go to the wildy.
Level 2 clue scroll: Do have coordinate clues, you WILL need the watch, sextant and chart in your inventory. These do not require you to go to the wildy.
Level 3 clue scroll: Do have coordinate clues, you WILL need the watch, sextant and chart in your inventory. These DO require you to go to the wildy. These can sometimes have the dreaded slider puzzle.
I used to hate the slider puzzle and would drop clues if I got stuck.
I found a system on a fan site and it really works. It's something that gets easier with practice.
The following link has the trick to doing the slider puzzles about half way down the page:
http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?p ... trails.htm
I will help anyone I can during this event. If you want to go to the wildy and want help to find the spot, I can help with this too. Just say something in clan chat and help will be on the way.
Don't forget to have spade in your backpack, all level of clues require a spade.
Let's see what kind of goodies we can get from the clues!
Before doing this it's a good idea to clear out a little of your bank for the junk needed for the Uri emote clues. He has you wearing various things and doing an emote. The things you wear take up quite a bit of bank space.
What is your favorite way to get clues? What is your best ever clue reward? Let us know!
Feel free to take a screenie of your rewards and show on this thread.

Re: Get a clue day
It sounds like a really good event idea for people that like to do clues. For me, I've had the same level 2 clue in my bank for two years. lol So, you'll have to count me out on this one. Good luck to everyone else!

Re: Get a clue day
It would be tons of fun to do this again. I love treasure trails.
And I'd be happy to help others with their own clues.
