Skill week is pretty much the only reason why I would train RC and I´m planning to gain at least 1 more level.

Yes, I don't like RC but really want all skills to be over 80 so this skill week is helping me. One more level, hope I can do it LOL.

It started off good for me too, but then I made a big mistake and decided saturday to buy the game Oblivion (The Elder Scrolls-series) and haven't runecrafted since then. The temptation of something new to explore compared to doing runecrafting is just too big, and I reached my personal goal of 91 runecrafting already anyway. Just a few more days, and I will probably be back in the world of Runescape, getting more runecrafting xp %-(

How r u liking Oblivion?

I preffered morrowind for gameplay, but oblivion is still an amazing game it looked stunning, Even now it's I guess 3 years old? It's better on graphics than a lot of recent releases. I think for max settings you need a multi-core and high end graphics card, I can't play anywhere near high settings on a single core 3500+ and 8800gt with 1gb ram, I upgraded (except for graphics card change when it died) specifically for oblivion when it came out 3 years ago, I guess 3 years is bloody old in computer terms now lol, time for an upgrade soon me thinks.

I played Morrowind too back then (years ago), so can't remember which one is better for gameplay. Oblivion is great and the graphics are fantastic indeed (especially with max settings :P ), but the training aspect is a bit too easy. Getting max in some skills in a matter of hours, something that's impossible in Runescape. Quests aren't so tough either, started playing on sunday and almost got maxed rank in Mage guild. But the fighting aspect is cool, and the fact you can just save and try again when you fail is very nice.

I am guessing I will soon enough be bored with it though, because the challenge in the game isn't that big.

Yeah I found the guilds a real dissapointment in Oblivion, in morrowind there were far more things to do in the guilds and most of the quests had level requirements.

I played morrowind for months and went back and played it quite a few times for years. Oblivion, altho I was stunned by the graphics and thought it was a great game, I haven't really sat down and played it after completing it the 1st time, I found morrowind you could go back as different classes, and play again from the begining, your class would affect the quests and things you could do in the guilds more and the game was more varied depending on the class or guilds you chose. In Oblivion you can pretty much do everything in the first go, and decisions in game don't affect the outcome too much.

but still a game I'd recommend as a must play.
