The Amazing Race KOA Style - CANCELLED
ONE MORE PARTICIPANT NEEDED!
THIRD WEEK CANCELLED SO RACE WILL BE TWO WEEKS FOR FINALISTS
Since all teams have at least one player who can use mumble, we have set up a temporary "room" called "Amazing Race" - in that room there are separate rooms for each team, this is where you will get the audio clues and instructions
For the players not using mumble, we will be using the clan chat "Mabelrose2"
ALL participants should be in clan chat "Mabelrose2" while racing. (note: others are welcome but asked to refrain from chatting to avoid giving hints or aide to any teams)
Starting times for each Leg of the race are:
Noon Pacific/1PM MT/2PM Cent/3PM Eastern/7pm GMT/8pm UTC
and you must commit to a minimum of 2 hours to complete the round.
Round 1 –SUNDAY May 16th
TWO OR THREE teams will advance to round 2: FINALS – SUNDAY May 23rd
PLEASE: ANY PARTICIPANT THAT DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES THEY CANNOT CONTROL, CAN NO LONGER MAKE ANY OF THE ABOVE TIMES/DAYS, PLEASE LET YOUR PARTNER AND MYSELF KNOW A.S.A.P.
more information coming soon.. in the meantime refer to
http://www.koaclan.co.uk/forums/posting. ... 70&p=44632
almost forgot, the teams, after careful analysis by a non-Koa runescaper (my son) here are the matchups:
DUE TO CANCELLATIONS THE FORMER MATCH UPS ARE NO LONGER IN EFFECT. NEW TEAM MATCHUPS WILL BE PROVIDED BY SUNDAY MORNING.
1st Leg - Sunday MAY 16th, meet in World 64, Lumby courtyard.. we will begin the race there with your first clue.
You will have ample opportunities to bank during the race. I suggesting connecting with your partner in advance to confirm how you will be communicating (feel free to use the mumble rooms already created) but really not a lot of prep work.

Re: The Amazing Race KOA Style
PLEASE NOTE: THE EVENTS ARE CREATED BASED ON THE SKILL LEVEL OF EACH PLAYER WITH BALANCED TEAMS ETC. PLEASE DO NOT JUST GET A "REPLACEMENT" AND BACK OUT AT THE LAST MNUTE OR WE MAY HAVE A TEAM UNABLE TO COMPLETE A TASK AT ALL.

Re: The Amazing Race KOA Style
Id rather back out now rather than later to avoid too much disruption, they have lifted the rest day working ban and i need to make full advantage of this if my plans for europe over the summer are to be fulfilled.
Sorry for any inconvenience and thanks for understanding, good luck in the race guys!

I'm really looking forward to this now, but I'm not back from holiday until Friday evening so don't worry if you don't see me on runescape this week, I will be there. But as for now I have a hot tub outside waiting for me. See you on the weekend
