First official Warbands event in KoA ( hopefully not the last one but can´t guarantee
)You need to be in cc/ designated fc 40 minutes before the event!!!
What is Warbands:
It is NOT a SAFE event. There is a good chance you might die.
The event is in Wildy, so make sure you only bring items you´re ready to lose.
Make sure you read the rules before coming to event.
Possible cheap gear ( you need to have protect item prayer on):
1) Royal d hide chaps+ top+ neitiznot helmet + rune crossbow with 30 rune bolts: Risked wealth 38k
Risked wealth with crystal bow: 51k
2) Batwing set + poly staff : risked wealth 15k gp
What to take:
Pray pot ( have protect item on all the time.. When you hop the world, put it on again, don´t forget it! ) If you get the wand, your pray points will go to 0 . Drink a pot and put on protect item again!
Some food .It is advisable to have a BoB with you ( in case of someone attacking you you will have better chance to survive)
Put your Bob full of food and leave 3 pieces of food in your inventory
Games necklace if you can go to corp cave.
Another possible options:
However, you can have lots of fun and gain some really good exp in smithing/herblore/mining/construction or farming.
Now, about the event ( please read carefully):
We will be using a fc assigned to warbands. ( I will give the name of the fc before the event, W123)
You need to be in fc and W123 not later than 40 minutes before it starts. 30 minutes before the event the fc name will be publicly announced and random people will join.
Fc rules:
Don´t attack the fc members
Follow the instructions of the host ( Iorn Faery ) < it is advisable to add her to your friends list, so you can see him as green dot.
No swearing, only one warning and then a kick. ( includes saying wtf, you suck, poop etc. You get my point )
Wand is safe at all times, do not attack wand looter.
Prepare a Canoe for the first world ( Waka).
All white dots on the minimap are killed on sight ( KOS).
We don't accept freeloaders and no-itemers. You are free to loot the camp after it is cleared and safe.
Make sure you follow the rules ! I am friends with fc owner and I would like to keep it that way
How it works:
1) Be in fc and W123 40 minutes before event. You can do what eve you like then.. just be in fc
2) 15 minutes before the event we gather W123 at Edge wall right next to GE shortcut
3) Prepare waka canoe
3) Follow the instructions of the host ( Iron Faery)
FI ( fall in ) means you have to " follow" her. She is the " Taxi" and will lead everyone to the first camp
If the first camp is RDI ( Red Dragon Isle) or ELM (East of Lava Maze) then everyone needs to use canoe to wildy!
Make sure you´re quick! Because Taxi won´t wait for you, lol .
4) If Taxi arrives at camp, it is usually allowed to break the beam. It means there will be NPC-s you have to kill first ( if you´re not allowed to break the beam, then don´t do anything, just stay a bit further)
5) Kill the Npc-s and start looting the tents.
6) you can have 25 pieces of loot from each camp.
7) Taxi will lead people back to edge wall ( you cannot teleport from wildy). Make sure you stay in group!! Splitting up from the group can mean a quick death by pk-ers ( learned it myself the hard way, lol)
8) After you´re back in edge, trade your loot to Quercus, you can choose exp or gp reward ( duh, don´t pick gp reward
)9) Now you need to be quick! The other world is announced in fc and quickhop to the new world (quick hop is done with right click and " join" on someone on your friends list. Also " trail" will help if you´re lost.
10 ) Now you start looting another world.
11) if we´re quick, we can do the third world as well
Make sure you´re quick with following the leader.
I am not able to look for KoA members in wildy when you´re lost somewhere
Sorry.If you die, don´t make a drama about it, it happens
