SotC: Build Tick 10

Welcome to the State of the Citadel, Build Tick 10, where I post our weekly progress building the best award-winning citadel resources can buy.

The Important Part
Cut at least 37,330 logs, mine 33,300 stone, and smith 28,150 bars and 12,560 precious bars this week. Check the target goals in-game to see what needs to be worked on. Don't over-gather charcoal or ore as we can't keep them in the storehouse.


What's New
We have a T4 Mine and T4 Furnace and can now mine/smith precious ore/bars.

Upkeep
Logs: 2930
Stone: 2700
Bars: 2300
Precious Bars: 0

Upgrades (selected)
T4 Storehouse: 2000 logs, 1500 stone, 500 bars, 500 precious bars*
T4 Woodcutter: 1500 logs, 700 stone, 150 bars, 60 precious bars
T4 Kiln: 900 logs, 900 stone, 200 bars
T5 Citadel: 30000 logs, 27500 stone, 25000 bars, 12000 precious bars
T4 Battlefield: 750 logs, 1000 stone, 1300 bars, 2000 precious bars

*finishing partial payment

Customizations
Grand Armadyl Statue 8% complete (4785/80000 stone, 4019/25000 bars, 0/20000 pbars)
Spherical evergreen 46% complete (5441/15000 logs, 3000/3000 stone, 0/15000 pbars)

Resources
Do not over-gather ore or charcoal as we cannot store them in the storehouse, we want to finish the week with 0 ore and 0 charcoal. We'll finish off T4 Storehouse and start gathering for T5 Citadel. This leaves the total upkeep + upgrade resource requirement at 37,330 logs, 33,300 stone, 28,150 bars, and 12,560 precious bars. In-game targets have been set to reflect this. After the upkeep + upgrade requirements are met I'll adjust the goals upward to cover customizations. Customizations always come after any building upgrades.

Next Week
We'll have T4 Storehouse with a bigger individual resource cap, plus T4 Kiln, T4 Woodcutter, and hopefully T5 Citadel. If we haven't finished gathering for T5 Citadel we'll finish it this week.

How to read the resources screen
To access the resources screen, click the Citadel Interface button (where you'd normally bring up the map) and then click the view resources tab:

The different resources are listed, along with the quantity gathered. The red bar shows how much we need for upkeep, this is the most critical. Yellow is how much we need for the marked building upgrades, also critical for our progress. The green is the surplus that'll be put towards customizations or stored in the storehouse. The blue marker (not shown) is our primary target while the yellow markers are other targets. I set these targets to (usually) upkeep + upgrade + storehouse cap.

You can find a simplified version in your production tab:

Here we see that there is much more stone gathered than timber, so in this case you should concentrate your efforts on cutting roots. As more and more types of resources are gathered it'll be your responsibility to check these screens and determine where your efforts are needed.

That's a lot of resources! 111,310 total!
Assuming we should just get as much as we can?
if 50 members max it's only 70k
Unless, did our max's change?

It is a lot of resources, 192,760 to be exact (bars = 3 resources). It'll require 138 clanmates to max their caps :P

I'll be monitoring the goals and adjusting as necessary to ensure that we get the basics covered this week (storehouse upgrade, skill plot upgrades) and we can finish the citadel off next week.

43 clannies have visited and we have enough resources to cover all upgrades except for the T5 Citadel… so now we're just chipping away at that :)

I might also suggest that if you would like to mine/smith then please concentrate on normal ore/bars as we're most deficient in them. I've changed the primary target to bars to remind you. Thanks! :)

good job Tamal. I think people went a bit too keen on the precious ore this week. Lets hope that we can get a t5 citadel by next tues...
