I decided to google countdown clocks for a bit to see if I could find anything good. I found this, which seems pretty good and legit, it allows you to put a countdown on your website, which probably will have an ad on it.

You can enter the year, month, day, hour, and minutes; the countdown clock will show how many days, hours, minutes, and seconds until the clock hits 0. This could be a much easier way to keep track of when an event is with all of the krazy time zone changes. It's based off of your computers clock, so it can't be wrong according to your time.
Example:
Countdown To Halloween

Re: A Countdown Clock
we previously had a countdown clock and will do again soon, there is another post regarding this somewhere. The main problem at the moment is I do the site updates and havent been able to do any for some considerable time as I'm in the middle of a change of job and moving house.
Thanks for the suggestion tho and sorry the site is lacking many functions at the moment, it is more due to lacking the time to get everything as it used to be since the site change rather than lack of code etc..
As mentioned in another post I have some time this week so should be a fair bit done to the site this week, at least functionally if not aesthetically.

Re: A Countdown Clock
When I saw the suggestion, I was thinking that it's something that could be put into the thread that the event's about. Is that what everyone's talking about?
Re: A Countdown Clock
on the thread is a good idea.
