Changing server

Not sure how much downtime this may or may not cause.

It could be instant, but either way, I'll be backing up the site before hand.

it looks like whatever the host was planning on doing to ease the problems on this server is having very little effect except in very low usage periods.

So gonna follow up on them moving us to another server, give that a go, if no improvement will change host.

it should be pretty simple, but given support levels so far, I wouldn't have amazingly high expectations.

I doubt it KJ, but it's only paid monthly, so no biggie, will change towards the end of a billing period.. if need be.

They sent me an email earlier tonight..

"your migration has been scheduled, we will let you know as soon as it has finished"

wtf that means, anybodies guess is as good as mine.. scheduled is today? tomorrow? 2054?


It seems fast at the moment tho, dunno if they did it already and forgot to tell me lol.
