This is the new server.

There are some changes.

The bridge between the mainsite and the forums has been disabled, I had to install fresh forums as the bridge really screwed them up and the automated uninstall of the bridge didnt work, I just couldn't be bothered sitting for hours undoing all the changes it had made to the forum code, to get it to work. So any branding, and images etc specific to KoA are currently not there, I need to tell the forums where everything is again, on the plus side, it is bug free and up to date.

anyway I want to be sure that everything is tickety boo, before doing that so the sites will be staying seperate. Please continue to log into both sites, as I want to be sure no one is having issues with either half before joining them together again.

Welcome to the new, hopefully more stable server.

I've already fixed a lot of bugs that we had on the old site due to access issues, the old server was shared hosting where as this is virtual dedicated. So some issues that were caused with permissions when the old host changed our server, they were too dumb to fix with chown as I asked, this took me approximately 15 seconds on the new server. SO I should be able to finally start putting in place some of the changes I wanted to make and a lot of things should run more smoothly.

Once we fix any and all bugs caused by moving server. The good thing about being on virtual dedicated is I will be able to have a test site running (with exactly the same server settings parameters etc.. which i couldnt do b4), so all edits and future upgrades changes, will be done on the test site first so as to mimimise problems on the live site.

I want to say thanks Deep for your hard work! I have no idea what is involved in maintaining nor creating such a website~ :idea: But i do really appreciate all the behind the scenes work you do to make this clan so efficient and friendly. :mrgreen:
