Technical difficulties in game

Problems with lag atm seem to be with the codes used for CC's I just did some reading in rsf and it seems a few of us are experiencing terrible lag when trying to do certain things in rs...

As most of you know, I've been having problems with RS taking up way too much resources.
CPU is maxed atm whilst playing.

Doubt I'll be in-game much as I'm not gonna risk cooking my comp.
If RS breaks it, I'd be so peed off.

So, I'll be around, but probably not much.
Unless I have a good reason to.

I can't enter HD in this version of ubuntu, noone can.
It's maxed at 100% in low detail.
2.2ghz processor btw.

You checked for other running processes I assume?
I know windows sneaks in defender on me once in a while which in conjunction with RS spikes my cpu and lags the hell out of RS. Not sure what if anything ubunto would do.

Yes, the detailed breakdown puts java at 95%+ processor capabilities currently in use.
No sneaky stuff either on linux.
