I've used this calculator for years to help me figure out how to use my charms collection. Just enter the #'s of each type charms you have and the actual amount of XP you have in summoning to figure out how to best use your charms for maximum xp gain. You can also customize it so that you don't use obsidian charms or 1-shard pouches or whatever! It also has features telling you exactly how to go about trading in your pouches in what order, and if you enter the cost of summoning seconds for the pouches you're making, you can figure out exactly how much you'll spend as well! Super handy!
Important note: You CAN tell it not to use certain pouches. Click the button "Edit Pouch Information" and find the pouch you do not want to use. Say for instance, it tells me to use Arctic Bears, but I'd prefer Barker Toads for my gold charms. I'd scroll down to Arctic Bear, and under the "Use" column change "Sometimes" to "Never," then "Back to Main Screen" and re-calculate it. This is also where you can input the secondary ingredient cost.
If there's a pouch you really want to make, change it from "Sometimes" to "Always."
