Kingdom Management: Leverage is key

To have Kingdom Management work most efficiently, it is best to collect that which will net the most profit, sell on the GE, then buy the materials that you need.

I often refer to this calculator to help me decide where I'm going to put my workers.

I'd like to share my last collection:

13 days
975k spent/invested
Raised approval rating to 100% every 3-4 days
10 workers on Farming, 5 workers on raw fish

Top items harvested:
  • 1 pineapple seed
  • 2 curry tree seeds
  • 1 papaya tree seed
  • 1 yew seed
  • 1 maple seed
  • 1 palm tree seed
  • 4 orange seeds
  • 2 willow seeds
  • 1 calquat seed
  • 1 spirit seed
  • 7 snapdragon seeds
  • 7 irit seeds
  • 7 toadflax seeds
  • 7 cactus seeds
  • 7 whiteberry seeds
  • 28 poison ivy seeds
  • 49 strawberry seeds
  • 2 ranarr seeds
  • 56 watermelon seeds
  • 126 sweetcorn seeds
  • 105 limp seeds
  • 2 loop key halves
  • 1 uncut diamond
  • 2 uncut rubies
  • 12 uncut emeralds
  • 13 uncut sapphires
  • 22 chests
  • 2831 raw tuna
  • 849 raw swordies
~2.75M gross value plus one "priceless" spirit seed
~1.78M profit
~137k profit per day

If I put that profit towards purchasing coal, I'll net much more coal than I would have if I put workers on mining.

Herbs are in high demand at the moment, so the current best choice would be herbs/farming.

Where did the gems and loop half come from, farm or fish?

My guess is fishing? The caskets maybe :)

You get a mixture of gems and caskets from Fishing. I don't open the caskets because the contents are usually worthless and I can get ~1k ea for them on the GE.

Great guide! I think because of the update to herblore, full on herblore and half on raw fish is the best way to go at the moment

You get gems or coins from caskets, and did you know key-halves are considered "gems"?

Usually if I go a whole month without collecting I'll get a few key-halves in the mix. I definitely open them up for the gems.

Yes I use mine in herbs and fishing. I made 1.5 mil off of raw tuna and swordfish after 10 days putting 750k in. Its basically free herbs since the fish make up for it.

I had completely forgotten about my kingdom! I've just come back from about 2 weeks ago from 3 months inactive, thanks for this :)

Prolly didnt have to do that until the last day, unless you dont like gaining 20% all in one sitting and in that case thats ok. (O:

Actually you "buy" the products based on daily approval is how I understand it, so every day your approval goes down 1%, you "buy" 1% less with your 75k expendiature

Looks like I'm switching from woodcutting to fishing. Although, if you sell the nest and a few high level'd seeds you get a pretty good profit. It's a lot better than the calculator Fxrw provided, because as it says, it does not provide these items in the calculation. With woodcutting it is just more of a gamble :D
