Third Annual Secret Santa Event

Gilly used to host this event, and it was great fun, so I will try my best to host it this year. If you have never done a Secret Santa exchange before, the way it works is that you draw a name in secret, somehow find out what that person would like, and surprise them at some point in the month with your gift to them. Someone will also be secretly planning a gift for you!
If you would like to participate, either post in this forum or pm me in-game or on the forums, and I will add your name to the list. I will take names starting now and stop taking names at 11:59 p.m. GMT on Sunday, December 4th. It would be a tremendous headache to deal with late sign-ups, so I can't do that. I also can't take names of people other than the one requesting to be added, for example, "Hey, Serame, so-and-so asked me to sign him up for the Secret Santa." Please be sure you are willing to commit to this before you sign up, so nobody will be disappointed that they gave a gift and didn't get one in return.
On Monday, December 5th, I will post a list with names of everyone who signed up. I will have assigned everyone a number. Each person on the list will choose a number, and I will pm you with the name of the person whose number you have chosen.
The fun part, especially if you don't know the person you have chosen very well, is to try to figure out what to get them; seeing what they are doing and what they might appreciate without them suspecting. Basically, the whole point of this is to get to know each other better!
Last year we had to deal with trade limits, but not this year, so let's set a gift-giving limit at 100k. Of course, you do not have to spend that much. Gag gifts, such as the 5k of burnt fish Kal received last year, can be just as fun! Just try to make sure your gag gift would be appreciated.
If you forget whose name you drew, send me a pm and I will remind you.
We could have a KoA Christmas party later in the month and exchange gifts there, or feel free to try and meet up with your Secret Santa on your own to exchange gifts. I'm open to ideas!
If you won't be able to be online to give your gift by December 25th, or are having trouble connecting with your Secret Santa, let me know and I will help with the transfer of the gift.
