Greetings KoA!As suggested by many you on the forums and through the high level of interest expressed in the clan chat; we think it's time that KoA had a friendly little xp gain competition! And what better skill than Slayer to get us hyped for the official release of 120 Slayer this Summer!?!?!
The event will be hosted on the same Time line that Double xp Weekend follows, so it hopefully will give everyone plenty of time to gain some xp either solo, and co-operative with your clan mates!!! Let's get working on those tasks!!!
This wonderful event will start at 12:00 UTC on Friday 28th and End on 12:00 UTC May the 1st! Of course, this is going be a friendly competition and no GP prize will be given, besides a fancy Signature created by me for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd! A link will also be posted of this Signature Template, for anyone else who took part in the weekend event and would like to have it in their signature!
As far as guidelines, some of the things we will ask, is that you hold off from dumping TH keys and bxp into slayer during this event. We can't stop you, or control the amount of bxp you already have, just ask you to have good sportsmanship and refrain from lopsided advantages as much as is possible. Remember, this is a FRIENDLY competition with your clanmates. As far as the Avatars are concerned; we ask for you to be considerate of them as well. For example, if you've had it out for 2 hours and someone else would like to use it, then it would be most appropriate to share it at that point. Also, the avatars will not be prioritized for this event; meaning that if someone else is using it for something non slaying, that is absolutely fine. We just ask that they follow the same rules and share if they have already had it for 2 hours.
We will be tracking everything on Runeclan Hopefully, where this is not a dxp weekend, we will not have any issues. That seems to be when the major issues happen with RuneClan. If there are any issues, realize this event is planned as a community and bonding clan event. A fun competition, but competition is not the main goal here. We do the best we can planning and tracking these events, so be patient IF (and we are hoping there will not be) there are any xp tracking discrepancies (again, there should NOT be).
For best results in the xp tracker, ou should log out of Runescape before the event on Friday(or even that night before you go to bed if you're on), and go to this link http://www.runeclan.com/user/fatfingers23 (Where Fatfingers23 is type in your username, if you have a space in your name use + for the space, check now when you can and if you need help comment below or let me know). This will sync the xp on your account with what Runeclan has for you, making it easier to track your xp gain! Then, do the same when you have finish gaining xp for the event or right before the event is over, so all your Slayer xp makes it in on the tracker!
