To hopefully explain...during skill weekend you will need to train all skills ....the skill that you gain the least xp in will be the skill that counts towards skill weekend final. The person who has the highest gain in that skill will be the winner




Please confirm that your RSN is in the tracker. If not, post to this topic/thread.

It is imperative that everyone logs out before the start and end of the competition (so the tracker can accurately capture your starting XP and then total XP gained).

Please do NOT change your RSN from now until the end of the competition (or the data for your XP will be lost from the tracker! -- some have learned this lesson the hard way.)

You're welcome to train on any world you wish. However, if you train on KoA's home-worlds, you're more likely to run into friends, and make use of the avatar!

For the skill weekend, the following XP rewards are:

Allowed:
Jack of Trades Aura

NOT allowed:
Penguin Points*
Quest XP Rewards (non-forced rewards, so xp lamps for example from While Guthix Sleeps)
Elite XP lamp rewards
Ancient effigies*
Troll Invasion -- you have 3 other weeks during the same month to complete this and receive your reward.
Temple Trekking/Burgh de Rott Ramble XP tomes*
Bought SOF Spin lamps (free spin lamps are ok)
And anything else that you can think that is obviously not fair

*If trained/acquired DURING skill weekend, the XP rewards can be used for starred items above. (Should NOT be used if collected/obtained PRIOR to skill weekend)

And, of course, we rely heavily on the honour system!

tracker records start and finish exp which wont change for viz on dung.

must be some options, come on Viz ur the maths guy!

could just divide lowest skill by 2.. that would be a big disadvantage to you tho I think? (as I say your the maths guy.. lol)

I would say just discount it and use next lowest skill .. as it's a high gain exp skill that you are losing, if it was highest overall exp it would be a disadvantage losing dung. But as it gives you more time to do another skill in this format that would be an advantage.

I cant get my head round it lol.. ok so 26 skills.. if all skills were equal that'd be 3-4% of time spent one each skill? add 6% for all the things I cant get my head round, speed of skills blah blah - and to make sure others don't feel at a disadvantage.

Call it a -10% handicap?

hmm reading this post back.. you can actually see my brain hurting, anyway long and short of it.. a handicap.. what do you think would be fair viz?

Dont worry about it Deep i have more than enough work to do this weekend that i shouldnt really take part anyway

Update - With one day and 10 hours left, the competition is heating up!
I've done a little teaser just to show you just how close this comp is going to be. I've taken the top 5 in overall gains (as of 1am GMT 08/12). This is the format you can expect to see for all the competitors who have gained exp in every skill at the end of the comp, but it takes a but load of time so this is just a sample!



As you can see, our top 3 overall would currently score a whopping 0 exp as all of them are missing at least 1 skill.
Out of our top 5 currently K aty aka Tinsel Belle is in the lead with an incredible 1410 experience, and I am a close second with a frankly staggering 870!

To put this in perspective if you gained a total of 37k exp spread evenly across all skills....you'd be in the lead. GO GO GO!

Whew! Think I finally got all skills done. Not alot in each, but at least I'll finish. lol My Monday mornings are busy so not sure when I'll be able to check in to see who to Congratulate so, know that I'll be back with some "woot, woot"s for ya.

I just wanted finish, so I'm happy with myself.
