It's time to pay the king a visit again!

Again, if you have never been before, you need to read up on the Kalphite King before you join the event so you know what to expect. Here is the wiki article on it http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Kalphite_King. iI is also advisable to have a look on youtube at a couple of videos.

Here is an example magic setup:
Ganodermic poncho
Ganodermic leggings

rfd gloves/Ganodermic gloves
Arcane stream/fury/glory
Skill cape/soul wars cape
Chaotic staff/Staff of light/ or Ahrims wand/master wand + shield

Ability bar suggestion: Example melee setup if you would like to try melee:

Neitz helm
Bandos chestplate/Barrows chestplate
Bandos tassets/Barrows legs
Fury/Glory
Skill cape/Soul wars cape
Steadfast boots/dragon boots/bandos boots
Goliath gloves/rfd gloves
dual rapiers/maul/longswords/godsword
Berserker ring/tokkul zo ring

Ability bar suggestion: Inventory

2-4 prayer flasks
overload if you have if not extreme or regular magic potion
1 prayer renewal flask
best healing familiar with scrolls (this may change back to fighting familiar by Friday)
Runes for the best spell you can cast if using magic. (no multi target spells)
fill rest of spaces with rocktails




Quick prayer/curse

The Kalphite King always starts by using melee, so have pray/deflect melee set as your quick prayer/curse. You can also choose protect extra item and torment if you like. He also attacks with range and magic too. If you follow the suggestion above about the ability bar, you will see you have both prayers there for quick access.

Kalphite King attack styles:

Yellow wings - Melee (always starts on melee)
Green wings - Range
Blue wings - Magic

Change your prayers accordingly, if you are in mumble we will tell you every time he changes attack styles.

We will be using mumble for this event and it is highly advisable that you join us in there as it is very hard to type instructions while fighting the king. If you can't join us in mumble it is even more important that you read up on the kalphite king before coming. It would also be a good idea to have a look on youtube so you know what to expect. I will make myself available on mumble 20 minutes before the event to explain anything that you need to know.

We will be using Coinshare for this event and using my fc.

A note about drops:It is highly likely that someone will die and won't be in the room when the KK dies. If we happen to get a drop when someone is on their way back to the lair, whoever is willing will give the person/s a split. For this I will need names of people willing to do this, if you don't post here I will ask in-game before the event. If you don't want to do this it isn't a problem, but if you are not in the room when we get a split, you will not recive a share.

I am in as well, and i'm willing to give/receive splits if people are eliminated before and miss the drop.

I'm hoping I can be there, if I can then I am happy to split.

I'm willing to share with anyone in our clan who's died and wasn't able to make it back to the lair in time for the drop.

I havn't been able to make it to KK yet, would you suggest mage over mele to get into the swing of it?

Mage is definetly a great way to start out for first timers

plan to be there...and as it is usually me who is not in the room when we get a big drop then ofc I am willing to share

im down with splits if can make it, but i may need help with my mumble problem
