Scamming by PM ingame

There was an incident this week where someone pm'ed a clannie purporting to be a staff member and asking for gp for a flip. Please make sure you have all staff members added to your Friends List so you know if you have to add a staff members name you know it's not us communicating with you.
Also please know our staff will not pm anyone for this sort of thing out of the blue. The staff team are doing our best to keep an eye on these things and thought once the font had been changed this would stop, but now these scammers are using names similar to ours.
We ask you always to be vigilant, if it's not us then report and pm admin in forums, if you can get a screenie of the pm that would be excellent for our records.
Please be aware, have all staff on your friends list then if you have to add them to reply you know it isn't us. If you aren't sure screenie and pm admin on forums to check. To make sure the offending account is stopped please report to jagex in game.
